BOOOOOOOO
Today is Halloween day and I am runnin' around like a crazy woman. I will say that it feels good to be busy and I am not complaining. We are having our neighbors over before our ward trunk-or-treat for some hot dogs so I am trying to get that together. I am excited to get together with members of our ward. It is always fun to strengthen friendships with people.

The Springs Preserve
We ended up getting our stuff together and heading off to the Springs Preserve. It was fun and the weather was perfect. The kids seemed to have a great time too. If you just stay in the garden area it is free. I think this is something we should do with our ward play group. They have a fun play area that is where these pictures were taken from. It would also be fun to visit with my family.

"Good Morning Time"
That is what Sam calls the morning. He'll say, "When it's 'good morning time' can we go to the store?" This 'good morning time' we are just lounging around doing nothing. Shaunie is home because today is Nevada Day and there is no school. She made some "stations" for us to do so that we wouldn't be bored. We had a reading station, a puppet show station (Sam did that one), a movie station, and a writing station. Jeremy fell asleep but assured them that when his eyes are closed he is still listening. After we finish up our movie station (watching Barbie as Rapunzel) then we are going to eat lunch and go to the Springs Preserve. It should be fun. I will post pictures when we get back. In the meantime, I hope everyone has a great 'good morning time'!
Homemade Wipes
I have been using my homemade wipes now for about five years. I love them because they are easy to make, inexpensive, very gentle and you don't have to run to the store because you ran out. Here is how I make them:
You will need:
Bounty Select-a-size paper towels, cut in half (no substitutes)
2 tbs baby lotion
1 tbs baby oil
2 tbs baby wash
2 1/2 cups warm water
Air-tight container that is about the size of a 1/2 paper towel. I use an old tupperware one that I got at Wal-mart, but I don't know if you can find those anymore since the disposable containers are so popular now. Be creative though and I am sure you will find something.
Fill the container with water and warm up in the microwave. Add the lotion, oil and baby wash and mix well with a wire whisk. Add the paper towels. Put the lid on the container and turn upside down until the water has soaked through the paper towels. Take lid off and remove the cardboard inner tube of the wipes. You are now ready to use them.

Cute Cousins
Leah and Vanessa are so cute. Their personalities are so different but you can see a family resemblance. They both have short, sassy hair and they both love each other. Heidi and her family came to visit us this Sunday and the kids had so much fun getting reacquainted. The twins are getting old enough to have some fun on their own and they really got around. It was so fun to take Heidi to church with me and show her and her family off to my friends. I love it when family visits and I can show them off. I was also able to meet little Marcus for the first time. I know that Troy and Marcus are going to be great friends too. They both have Grandpa's ears! They will have so much fun hanging out at family things. I can't wait!

Death of a Computer
Okay, so my computer is officially dead. We had a friend over last night to see what what up with it and why it wouldn't turn on. He couldn't find anything wrong but couldn't get it to turn on either. I have to buy a new motherboard, video card, memory card, etc. I basically have to rebuild a new computer. I wish I could afford a Mac. Why don't you buy me one for Christmas, Daddy? It's a good thing Jeremy has his laptop or I would be cut from the cyberworld and wouldn't be able to communicate.

Oh Baby Baby
Oh my heavens! I am so tired! I just need one night of 8 hours and I would be a happy mom. Troy is wearing me out. I hope all of this gets better soon. I have heard that colic usually subsides by 12 weeks and he just turned 11 weeks yesterday. Hopefully my 8 hours of blissful, restful, sleeping is approaching my bed and will overtake me soon.

Pumpkin Bumpkin
We went to the Pumpkin Patch at Sunset Station on Friday and we got some cute pictures. The kids really enjoyed themselves. Leah got the biggest prize but I don't think anyone noticed. They were all so happy to get something. The kids really enjoyed the rides and the fun was over way too fast (for them). It was a beautiful night. I think we are going to make this a family tradition since it is so much fun. I love autumn! The weather is beautiful and you can feel the excitement for the upcoming holiday season.
